accessing media and files(i.e. camera pictures)
initial setup
on phone from termux session, run...
$ termux-setup-storage
You will then be prompted to "Allow Termux access photos, media and files on your device", which you should allow. A folder $HOME/storage is created. You can then access you files and pictures via this folder.
