mail user auth failing after update

problem

smtp / imap authentication failing after gentoo update. the update include a courier-authlib update.

courier erroneously tries to use the (not configured) mysql auth method.

solution

edit /etc/courier/authlib/authdaemonrc

and replace the line

authmodulelist=”authmysql”

by

authmodulelist=”authpam”
